SOLIHULL Moors dropped into the relegation zone after suffering back-to-back defeats over the bank holiday weekend.
Moors shipped five goals in a heavy 5-1 defeat against Aldershot Town at Damson Park.
And Matt Taylor’s side then lost 2-0 at Moss Lane against Altrincham to remain winless in the league this season.
The results mean Solihull sit 21st in the National League table.
Moors suffered a chastising defeat against Aldershot on an afternoon to forget for Taylor’s side.
The Shots broke the deadlock on 28 minutes when Ryan Hill fired a low effort through the legs of Alex Whitmore and into the net from 12-yards out.
And the visitors struck again four minutes later as Josh Barrett squared the ball across the box to Tristan Abrahams who reversed a shot into the bottom left corner.
However, Moors halved the deficit one minute after half time when Szhem Whyte-Hall headed in Dan Creaney’s cross from the left.
Aldershot won a penalty on the hour mark when Tyler French pulled Kwame Thomas to the ground in the box at a corner.
And Hill stepped up to score his second of the game from the spot as he sent Laurie Walker the wrong way.
The Shots sealed the points seven minutes later as Thomas lashed a half-volley into the roof of the net from the left-hand side of the penalty area.
Aldershot completed the scoring three minutes from time when Jed Meerholz finished substitute Hady Ghandour’s low cross from the left at the back post from close range.
Solihull then conceded either side of half time in defeat at Altrincham as Moors slipped into the relegation zone.
The home side opened the scoring on 19 minutes when Kahrel Reddin chested the ball before volleying an effort into the top left corner from 10-yards out.
And the hosts sealed the points on 79 minutes as substitute Lucas Weaver powered his way into the box before firing a low effort into the bottom left corner.
