SOLIHULL Moors came from behind to claim a first pre-season win with a 2-1 victory at Hednesford Town.
Late goals from Conor Wilkinson and Kian Ryley turned the game on its head after Jamie Cooke put the home side ahead at Keys Park.
Moors won the first time in pre-season ahead of the 2026/27 season following defeats against Knowle and Birmingham City and a draw against Alvechurch.
Hednesford broke the deadlock on 25 minutes when Cooke headed in Lenni Cirino’s cross.
However, Moors equalised on 75 minutes as substitute Wilkinson tapped the ball home from Charlie Footes’ assist.
And Solihull took the lead eight minutes from time when Footes provided a second assist as Ryley rounded the goalkeeper to put Moors ahead.
Solihull continue their pre-season campaign against Hereford on Saturday, July 25 with kick-off at 2pm at Edgar Street.
