KNOWLE are searching for a sixth successive home win when they entertain Central Ajax this weekend.
The Robins moved top of the Midland Football League Division Two table with a 3-0 win against Cadbury Athletic in their last outing.
The league leaders remain unbeaten after five league matches – the only MFL Division Two yet to lose a game this season.
Opponents Central Ajax sit 12th in the table with one win, one draw and three defeats thus far.
Ajax are winless in their last three league games and have conceded three or more goals in each of those games.
Knowle’s joint manager, Clive Seeley, said: “Central Ajax are a really good footballing side, who play the game the right way.
“They are always difficult to beat and we shall need to be on top form to do so this weekend.”
The clubhouse at the Draintech Community Stadium will be open all afternoon for alcoholic, hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Entrance is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Knowle’s clash with Ajax takes place on Saturday, August 31 with kick-off at 3pm at the Draintech Community Stadium.
