THE Football Association (FA) have awarded Knowle three-star status as part of the organisation’s Football Accreditation Programme.

The programme recognises clubs which demonstrate exceptional standards in governance, coaching, safeguarding, player development and community engagement.

And the Robins are one of just 20 clubs, out of 1,200, within the Birmingham County FA to achieve three-star status.

The Step Six club are also within the top 325 of 20,000 clubs across the country who have achieved the status.

Knowle chairman, Stuart Lanyon said: “This is fantastic recognition for everyone involved at Knowle FC, from our volunteers and coaches to our players and supporters.

“Achieving three-star accreditation shows that we are operating at the highest standards both on and off the pitch.

“We’re incredibly proud to join such a select group of clubs, and it’s a real testament to the hard work and dedication that goes into making Knowle FC a true community club.

“We should rightly celebrate this moment. As we head into our centenary year and continue our ambitious plans, including our floodlight installation, this award adds further momentum to everything we’re building.

“It’s also a great time for local businesses and partners to get involved and be part of Knowle FC’s journey.”
