SOLIHULL rivals Knowle and Earlswood Town will lock horns for the second time this season when the teams meet at the Draintech Community Ground on Saturday (January 6).

Knowle lead the Midland Football League Division Two table by eight points after returning to winning ways against Hampton and Coventry Alvis over the festive period.

The Earls sit 10th in the table and last took to the field on December 16 in a 2-2 draw away at Inkberrow.

Knowle triumphed 3-0 in the reverse fixture at The Pavilions back in September as George Seeley netted a brace while Tom Craine also found the net.

The Robins suffered a pre-Christmas blip after slipping to defeat away at Coventrians in the league while Knowle also exited the Saturday Vase away at Hampton.

Earlswood last tasted victory in the league at the start of September and are winless in their last seven MFL Division Two matches.

The clubhouse at Hampton Road will be open all afternoon for hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks.

Entrance is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Knowle host Earlswood on Saturday, January 6 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Ground.
