EARLSWOOD Town surrendered a half-time lead in a 4-2 defeat against fellow strugglers Inkberrow.
Both Joe Kelso and Harry Dixon struck in the first half to put the Earls ahead at the break only for the visitors to score three goals without reply after the interval at The Pavilions.
And the result means Earlswood sit 11th in the Midland Football League Division Two table after slipping to a third straight defeat.
The Earls broke the deadlock on 13 minutes when Kelso reacted quickest to turn the ball home after Louis Beresford could only parry Dixon’s initial free-kick.
However, Inkberrow equalised three minutes later as Joel Hill brought the visitors level.
The home side reclaimed the lead on 20 minutes when Dixon raced through and calmly slotted the ball beyond Beresford.
Inkberrow levelled the game for a second time five minutes after the break as Sahad Amir pounced on a weak clearance and saw his hopeful shot from 20-yards out trickle out of Alfie Pyott’s reach and into the bottom left corner.
The visitors completed the turnaround two minutes later when Hill carved open the Earls defence and fired a shot into the far corner.
And Amir completed the scoring in the sixth minute of injury time as Inkberrow went in search of an equaliser.
Earlswood are next in action against Bolehall Swifts on Saturday, October 26 with kick-off at 3pm at Rene Road.
