EARLSWOOD Town suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat at lowly Redditch Borough as the Earls winless run was extended to nine matches.
The Earls remain without a win since the turn of the year as goals in either half from Cameron Watts and James Mudie helped Redditch to victory.
And the result means Earlswood sit ninth in the Midland Football League Division Two table.
Chances were few and far between in the opening 20 minutes before Watts finished at the back post from Matthew Turner’s cross from the right.
Earlswood responded when a powerful effort from Louis Bridges rebounded to the right only for Brad Littlehales to hit the side netting from a few yards out.
However, Redditch sealed the points on 74 minutes when Mudie glanced Alex Birch’s perfectly weighted corner into the bottom left corner.
Earlswood are next in action at home to Inkberrow on Saturday, March 11 with kick-off at 3pm at The Pavilions.
