THREE founder members of Earlswood Town FC were recognised for their 50-year service by Midland League officials.
President Jill Bloxham, vice-chair Jim Jones and club press officer John Sharpe received their awards from chairman Brian Quigley at last Saturday’s Birmingham Vase game agaisnt AEI Rugby.
Earlswood also celebrated their 50th birthday with a charity game at Malt House Lane when the club’s over-35s took on a Birmingham City Legends teams.
All proceeds were donated to the Help For Heroes charity.
