NEW Highgate United manager Russell Dodds has revamped his side with the signings of seven new players ahead of the new MFL Premier Division season.

Stuart Hendrie, Connor Doyle, Liam Holt, John Mills, Connor Wright and Jordan Hunt have all made the move to The Coppice, with further signings expected before the season start on August 3.

Hendrie arrives from Coleshill Town, and names League Two Morecambe and Redditch United, Stourbridge and Tamworth from the Southern League Premier Division Central amongst his former sides.

Doyle also joins from Pack Meadow, with Holt and Hunt most recently featuring for another MFL Premier Division side in Sporting Khalsa, while Mills and Wright make the move from UCL Premier Division side Rugby Town.

Dodds’ other summer signing to date is James Behan – a former Stratford Town and Coventry United keeper, who replaces the outgoing Brad Catlow.

Meanwhile, Marco Adaggio, Richard Bryan, Lei Brown, Corey Currithers, Trevor Edwards, Macauley Manning, Sam Oji, Shay Palmer, Nathan Pulisciano, James Wilcock and Todd Yahiya have all committed their futures to Highgate for the forthcoming season.

Gate fans will get their first chance to see the new-look side in action at The Coppice this Saturday (3pm) when hosting Rushall Olympic, before welcoming Rugby Town on Tuesday (7.30pm).
