FOOTBALL: HIGHLY-rated defender Paige Williams is the latest recruit to join Marc Skinner’s Birmingham City Ladies revolution.
The 21-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a deal that will keep her at the Women’s Super League One club until May 2018, subject to international clearance.
The exciting left-back has joined after a two-year spell in Italy where she won the Serie A and Coppa Italia with ACF Brescia in 2015/16 before moving to AGSM Verona last season.
The England Youth International at Under-15, Under-17, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-23 level was also an FA Cup runner-up in 2014 with Everton.
Williams joins Ellen White and Sarah Mayling in revamping Marc Skinner’s side ahead of the Spring Series.
