KNOWLE and Dorridge CC remain top of the table despite having to settle for a losing draw against Ombersley.
The Solihull club survived a late onslaught from the home side to close on 180-9 at the end of their 55 overs at Main Road.
That came after Ombersley posted 239-8 from their 55 overs as Knowle took seven points from the fixture while the hosts came away with 17 points.
Despite the result, Knowle remain top of the Birmingham Premier League Premier Division One table.

Further runs from Yusuf Khalil (39) and Luke Powell (50) helped the home side recover from 96-4 to 174-5.
And lower order runs from Nathan Bowley (12), Charles Jackson (16 not out) and Gareth Andrew (20 not out) boosted Ombersley’s total to just shy of the 250-run mark.
Freddie Fowler (3-50), Nick James (2-57), Oliver Currill (1-40) and Neil Pinner (1-46) took the wickets for Dorridge.
Knowle made a steady start with the bat as openers George Maddy (26) and Ethan Berlusconi (27) reached double figures.
However, Hamza Shaikh (0) fell for two-ball duck while Pinner (5) also fell cheaply to leave Knowle on 78-4.
Callum Bennett (57) recorded a half-century in an 85-ball knock and found support in the middle from Omaris Khan (18) and Isaac Maddy (21).
However, Currill (1) lasted just three balls at the crease with Knowle on 175-7 in the 50th over.
Bennett departed the following over while James (3) fell to the penultimate ball of the innings as Fowler (0 not out) survived the final ball of the match.
Knowle and Dorridge are next in action against Barnt Green on Saturday, July 25 with play to begin at 12pm(midday) at Station Road.
