YOUNGSTERS at Solihull cricket academy were given a coaching masterclass by former Pakistan and Northamptonshire captain Mushtaq Mohammed.

The Mushtaq Mohammed cricket Academy opened its doors earlier this year to help youngsters in the area with an interest in the sport improve their game.

Young cricketers from the age of seven train at the academy which takes place at Alderbrook school on Sundays between 3-4.30pm. Sessions are available for beginners up to more advanced levels.

And last month Mushtaq himself took time out of his busy schedule to provide coaching and tips, having trained the likes of Wasim Akram, Saqlain Mushtaq, Shahid Afridi and many other international cricketers.
