Camp Hill coach gets top tips from England stars

RUGBY UNION: DANIEL Ingram from Camp Hill had an afternoon to remember when he was joined by three England players learning how to coach Old Mutual Wealth Kids First U10s rugby as part of a nationwide England Rugby scheme.

Daniel was one of 19 coaches from across the country, joined by England players Nathan Hughes, Jamie George and Joe Launchbury who were in high spirits having won the Calcutta Cup 24-hours earlier.

The three players happily got involved and passed on their own advice in a fun and interactive two-hour training course at Weybridge Vandals RFC put on by England sponsor Old Mutual Wealth.

Jamie George, who was part of England’s record breaking win against Scotland commented: “I love days like this.

“After an intense two weeks of training and preparation to take on Scotland and then yesterday’s game – being able to come to Weybridge today and learn how to coach junior rugby while adopting the Old Mutual Wealth Kids First philosophy really keeps you grounded.

“It was great to meet Daniel and I wish him and Camp Hill RFC all the best for the remainder of the season.”
