BIRMINGHAM City Ladies striker Ellie Brazil helped England progress to the semi-final of the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championships in Belarus.
The Solihull College student, who made her full first team debut against Manchester City back in April this year, scored England’s second goal just after Serbia’s Isidora Vuckovic was red-carded for a tackle on the Blues striker.
England went on to win the match 4-1 and will now take on Germany, runners-up in Group B, on Friday in the Lionesses’ first Euro semi-final since 2013.
The two finalists and the winners of the third-place play-off will qualify for the FIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup in Jordan in September.
Brazil also scored in the previous game against Belarus when England recorded a thumping 12-0 win, which was the biggest victory ever recorded at a UEFA Finals tournament at any level.
