FOOTBALL: MIDFIELDER Emma Follis has moved to Birmingham City Ladies for an undisclosed fee from Reading Women.

The 25-year-old becomes Marc Skinner’s fourth signing over the winter period as he continues to build his squad ahead of the 2017 Spring Series.

Follis will be part of the club’s Spring Series team and the following 2017/18 winter season that ends in May.

Follis spent 14 years with Aston Villa Ladies and graduated from the Club’s Centre of Excellence.

The former England U19 and U23 international joined Reading in 2015 and made 39 appearances in total, scoring 19 goals.

Follis met up with the squad for the first time yesterday and joined fellow new signings Ellen White, Paige Williams and Sarah Mayling.

Marc Skinner’s side kick-start their Spring Series campaign on Sunday 23 April against Sunderland Ladies.
