Young photographers capture The Beauty of Nature in schools competition

FOR a fourth year running the Rotary Club of St Alphege Solihull has successfully run a Young Photographer Competition for students of Solihull secondary schools and colleges.

The subject for the photographs this year was The Beauty of Nature which resulted in imaginative and artistic interpretations from more than 50 students.

The winner in the senior category was Gabriela Oberheim, of Solihull School, whilst Harrison Kentish and Mitchell Reeve, of Solihull School, were highly commended.

The winner in the intermediate age category was Mackenzie Groutage, of Alderbrook School, and Zachary Stanier, of Tudor Grange Academy, and Chloe McArthur, of Alderbrook School, were handed the highly commended accolade.




A display of the winning photographs is set to go on display in Touchwood Shopping Centre soon.
