PUT your glad rags on – a date and venue is all set for the Mayor’s Ball 2020 in Solihull.
Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Stuart Davis, has just revealed that the ball will take place on Saturday March 14 at Hogarths Hotel in Dorridge in aid of Olton-based Breast Cancer Haven along with other mayoral charities.
He said: “I would like to invite Solihull residents to join me for a spectacular evening in aid of excellent causes.
“With a three-course meal and plenty of entertainment, I am sure everyone will have a terrific time at a wonderful venue.
“The charities for which we are raising money do vital work within our community and are very close to my heart.
“I am so pleased to be able to help them in this way and I am sure Solihull residents will be eager to do the same. ”
Robert Eliot, director of sales, Hogarths Hotels, said: “Hogarths are delighted to be hosting the Mayor’s Ball. As a family business supporting many local charities and organisations, many shared with the Mayor himself, we are looking forward to welcoming guests to the hotel for what is shaping up to be a great celebration of Solihull and the Mayor’s year in office.”
