YEW TREE Primary School will open its doors to two year olds for the first time from January.
Solihull Mayor Mrs Glenis Slater joined children, parents, staff and governors at a special celebratory opening event.
Headteacher Rachael Russell said they were delighted to be able offer places for two-year-old children at Yew Tree.
She added: “Our school strives to be at the heart of the community.
“Welcoming younger pupils and their families enables us to do this even more.”
