KIND-HEARTED pupils in Yardley have handed over food to help families in need.
Those on the charity committee at Cockshut Hill School have donated food during their form time to the Green Lane Masjid and Community Centre.
Mohammed from the Masjid visited the school to speak with the students and pick up the donations.
Jason Bridges, principal at Cockshut Hill said: “Here at Cockshut Hill, we act as a collection point for not only the Green Lane Masjid food bank but also Saint Thomas Church, Garretts Green.
“This is in addition to the food bank collections we already run at Easter, harvest, and Christmas times.
“I am so proud of the work the students on our charity committee do to support those in need.”
