A SHIRLEY pub is urging failing pub quiz teams to put themselves forward to contest the UK’s Easiest Pub Quiz.
The Drawbridge Inn is calling self-confessed pub quiz losers to enter the competition, which will see the winning team bag themselves a cool £750 cash prize.
Teams from across the borough must explain what makes their performance stand out as the worst in the region to stand a chance of qualifying for the final.
Five teams will be selected to contest the final, which will take place on Thursday, October 5.
Lauren Hughes, general manager at the Drawbridge Inn, said: “Everyone loves a pub quiz.
“But not everybody is up to scratch with their general knowledge.
“We’ve had some crazy answers in our pub quiz before so I’ll be interested to see if any of our guests will be putting their name forward.”
