Woman wanted over Sheldon knife attack

POLICE are hunting for a woman following a knife attack in Sheldon.

Emma Fryer is sought over the incident in Edendale Road that took place on the afternoon of April 28 during which two men were stabbed.

West Midlands Police say she’s accused of stabbing a 20-year-old man as he tried to intervene to break-up a disorder outside a neighbour’s home.

A 66-year-old man also suffered a serious knife injury at the time.




West Midlands Police said: “The 44-year-old made off from the scene. We’ve since made several arrest attempts but she remains at large and we’re now asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to get in touch.

“We’ve arrested and charged 39-year-old Maurice Fryer with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and he’s now on remand in prison.”
