AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a woman was raped by two men in Chelmsley Wood.
West Midlands Police said it happened at Alcott Woods at around 8am on February 10.
The force said it is supporting the woman and officers have been carrying out CCTV and house to house enquiries, and are following up a number of lines of enquiry.
Ch Supt Richard Harris, of Solihull Police, said: “People have understandably been shocked and worried by this attack.
“We recognise that, and have extra officers working in the area to offer reassurance.
“Our officers are working flat out to build a clear as picture of possible of what happened, and who is responsible, so that they can be brought to justice.
“We will continue to offer the woman who was attacked all the support we can while that work continues.”
