The woman, who is in a wheelchair, was with her assistance dog when she was attacked.

The dog, a white American bulldog, was off the lead when it bit the 50-year-old, causing injuries to her body, arms and legs.

It is believed that at the time of the attack, which took place between 11am and 2pm, the dog was being supervised by a petite woman who was white, in her 30s and wearing a dark puffa style coat.
