The ‘unwavering commitment and dedication’ of pupils at WMG Academy Solihull has been praised as their GCSE results were announced.
The college, which specialises in Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) saw smiles and tears of joy as pupils opened their all-important envelopes.
WMG Academy Chief Executive, Stewart Tait, said: “Students have made real progress against a backdrop of considerable disruption to their studies over the past three years.
“I know that our students will go on to a wide range of exciting destinations and careers with their impressive learning and business behaviours standing them in good stead.
“I personally congratulate the students and thank parents and carers for their patience and support as well as the staff for their unwavering commitment and dedication.”
