THE RICOH Arena in Coventry launching a new programme of live music and sport next month – and the Observer has free tickets to give away.

The Offload Series will be kicked off by well-known bands Echo & the Bunnymen and Buzzcocks in the Jaguar Hall following Wasps’ Aviva Premiership match with Exeter Chiefs on Saturday, December 5.

We have five pairs of tickets to give away to watch the bands in action from 8pm. (Doors open from 6.30pm)

Rock band Echo & the Bunnymen will be playing hits from the string of albums which have been released since they were formed in 1978.

Albums Ocean Rain, Porcupine and the self-titled Echo & the Bunnymen have received widespread critical acclaim.

Singer Ian McCulloch and guitarist Will Sergeant from the original band will be on stage to perform their hits including The Killing Moon, Silver and Seven Seas.

Legendary punk band Buzzcocks will also be heading to the Ricoh Arena and are certain to have the crowd singing along to Ever Fallen In Love With Someone (You Shouldn’t’ve Fallen In Love With?),

Everybody’s Happy Nowadays and What Do I Get?

The award-winning band released their ninth album The Way last May and still has singer-songwriter-guitarist Pete Shelley in their line-up.
