FATHER Christmas will be out touring Solihull throughout December in a bid to help raise funds for charity.
He will make his way around the streets and will be outside supermarkets with his band of little helpers to help boost coffers of local charities.
Students and staff at Solihull College and University Centre handed over the keys to Solihull Round Table after they had restored a festive mobile home.
The model house has been used for 40 years in the seasonal celebrations.
The house was painted, sanded, restored and had lights and electric added to restore it to its former Christmas glory.
With a chimney adorning the roof awaiting Santa himself, the house, kitted out with fairy lights and a sound system, will be on the road for 15 displays, which started on Monday.

In Shirley Father Christmas will be joined by Shirley Lions and Shirley Round Table to make sure he can see as many children as possible.

Father Christmas will be out spreading festive joy in Knowle, Dorridge and Bentley Heath with the Knowle and Dorridge Round Table.
Each evening residents can track the sleigh online to see where St Nick and his elves are and if they can expect a visit from them.

The elves and Father Christmas will be making their way across Chelmsley Wood and Marston Green from Monday (December 10).
They will be joined by the Marston Green and District Lions Club en route.

The sleigh will be out in Meriden playing music and lighting up the streets from Monday (December 10).
