WEATHER - What will it be like in Solihull and Shirley in the week ahead?

THE BRIGHT and warm weather we have enjoyed over the past few days in Solihull and Shirley looks set to continue.

According to the Met Office Monday will start cloudy. But it will soon brighten up from midday with temperatures peaking around 20°C and 21°C between 1pm and 6pm. The temperature will naturally drop into the evening and night but will still be above average for this time of year, even come midnight.

Tuesday to Thursday

Tuesday, like Monday, will start cloudy with sunshine breaking through around 10am – temperatures will peak again at 20°C. Later on it will turn cloudier.

On Wednesday we could see our first drop of rain with a 50 per cent chance around 10am and later in the afternoon and evening.

On Thursday, temperatures will drop to 14°C – the usual for this time of year. but, although cooler, it should remain dry.
