BABIES will be remembered at a Wave of Light service in Dorridge.
The TeddyRose Foundation founders Mike and Trisha White – who lost a son and a daughter during pregnancy and birth – are inviting bereaved parents, children, family and friends to join them at St Philips Church from 6.30pm on October 15.
Baby loss and stillborn charities will be holding a Wave of Light Service for all those who have lost a child to mark baby loss awareness week, which runs from October 9 to 15.
There will be a short service and families will be able to light a candle in their children’s memory at the Manor Road Church.
Parents will also be able to add their babies name to the TeddyRose remembrance tree.
Outside 100 ribbons will be carefully tied to a display with each ribbon blowing in the wind in memory of a precious baby.
Anyone with wishes to include a special baby should contact The TeddyRose Foundation.
Alternatively there will be ribbons and pens in the reception for families at the service.
Free parking and refreshments will be available.
