Walkers take up chance to jump in muddy puddles on Knowle and Dorridge Festive Walk

CHILDREN, ADULTS and four-legged friends alike braved the damp conditions to take on the 28th Knowle and Dorridge Lions Festive Walk.

After a year off, due to Covid restrictions, around one thousands walkers descended upon Dorridge Village Hall to begin their three or six mile walks around the surrounding countryside using country lanes and public footpaths.

Organisers say £2,000 has been raised for the Lions community fund, which donates money to worthy organisations across the borough.

Knowle and Dorridge Lions said: “Thanks to all the walkers, all the volunteers, Dorridge Village Hall, Ye Olde Knowle Bowling Club, Dorridge Scout Group and Dorridge Cricket Club.”
