Two named men arrested after making threats to kill with possession of air rifle in Lapworth

TWO MEN have been charged with possession of an air rifle and making threats to kill following an incident near Old Warwick Road in Lapworth on Monday (March 21) morning.

Gavin Lee, 37, of Horrell Road, Birmingham, has been charged with possession of an air rifle, making threats to kill, theft and possession of a bladed article.

Jack Lewis Lee, 19, of Horrell Road, Birmingham has been charged with possession of an air rifle, making threats to kill, and theft.

The incident took place shortly after midnight.




Both men were remanded in custody and will appear before Leamington Spa Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Police were called to the Grand Union Canal following two reports of men verbally threatening another man – who police have said was not injured.
