TWO MEN have appeared in court after a fire in Solihull which damaged cars and houses.
Kristopher Kennedy, aged 37 , and Tyrelle Philip, aged 18, were both charged with arson being reckless to endanger life.
It comes after two vehicles were set alight on Handford Crescent in the early hours of July 17.
Fortunately, no-one was hurt but houses were damaged following the fire.
Solihull Police CID investigated and found a vehicle suspected of being involved.
Within hours, the vehicle was tracked to the West Yorkshire area, and Kennedy and Philip were arrested.
The pair, from Yorkshire, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates earlier this week and were remanded in custody ahead of appearing at Crown Court next month.
