Two days of music at The Portway as GlastonBeoley gears up

MORE than 30 acts are lined up to take to the stage in this year’s GlastonBeoley Festival at the Portway, home of Birmingham Solihull Rugby Club.

To be held over the weekend of July 31 and August 1 the event, a major fundraiser for local charities, will feature two big stages and more music in the clubhouse.

“There will also be a pamper area, a market, two bars and food too,” said festival director Debbie Joynes.

Coming a week after the Solihull Festival with its big name stars, GlastonBeoley offers a more laid back approach to music and features a host of local homegrown talent.

Early bird tickets are still on offer and can be booked via the GlastonBeoley Facebook page.

There people will also find access to an outdoor fun music quiz, all designed to boost the festival.

This year’s event is backed by Knights Pharmacists and organisers would welcome further support from local businesses which in turn means the team can support local charities and the thriving local music scene.
