A MAN and a woman have been charged following a ram raid on a mobile phone shop in Acocks Green on Saturday (June 23).
An Audi A3 was stopped by traffic officers on Hagley Road West as it tried to join the dual carriageway travelling in the wrong direction following the raid.
Christopher Clift, aged 41, and 31-year-old Sally Hateley, both from Rednal Mill Drive, Rubery, were charged with burglary and motoring offences.
Clift was charged with driving while disqualified and without insurance. Hateley was charged with dangerous driving and also without insurance.
They will appear before Birmingham magistrates on Monday (June 25).
