TRIBUTES have been paid to a ‘wonderful’ son and uncle who was killed in a collision on the M5.

A man who was killed after being hit by a coach on the motorway has been named as Nicholas Mowl from Solihull.

The 41-year-old was struck on the M5 southbound near junction eight of the M6 at 2.15pm on May 16.

Paying tribute his family said: “A wonderful son, brother and uncle who was loved so much.

“You will always be in our thoughts and memories. Rest in peace.”

DS Alan Hands, from the West Midlands Police Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are still working to better understand the circumstances behind Mr Mowl’s death and would ask anyone who may have spoken to him earlier that day to get in contact with us.”

Anyone with information should contact DS Hands at [email protected] or call 101.
