Tributes paid to mum found dead in Solihull park

Solihull Editorial 20th Feb, 2024   0

HEARTFELT tributes have been left in memory of a mum who was tragically found dead in a Solihull park.

The body of Juliette Ryan was found in Elmdon Country Park following concerns of welfare.

West Midlands Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and confirmed the coroner had been informed.

Following the tragedy a fundraiser has been set up to help Juliette son and a section of the park has been transformed into an area of reflection with flowers, balloons and candles left in her memory.

Juliette’s eldest sister – Lisa Burbidge Brown – set up the Go Fund Me page in response to people asking how they can help the family.

On the site she said: “Thank you for the outpouring of loving support that we have received as a family during this tragic time.

“Many people have reached out and asked how to support us and we felt the best way to do this is to provide a financial cushion for Juliette’s son.

“Your generous donations will not only help ease the financial burden, but also provide much needed assistance to Juliette’s son and the family raising him as they face this unimaginable loss.

“Every contribution no matter how small is a lifeline for her son during this heart wrenching period.”

In just three days the page has raised almost £3,500 and messages have flooded in from family, friends and those touched by the events.

A message at Elmdon Park read: “Rest in peace Jules, I hope you’re singing away in peace.”

And another said: “Juliette my baby girl, fly high. I love you, miss you so much.”

Neil Pearce wrote: “Absolutely devastated when I heard the sad news, my thoughts to her family, and Jamie, heaven has a new angel, rest in peace lovely lady xxx”

Vicky Muller said: “Sleep tight darling Thoughts and prayers for Jamie and family.”
