Touchwood shopping centre to dim lights to raise awareness of autism

Solihull Editorial 22nd Sep, 2017   0

TOUCHWOOD in Solihull will be standing in solidarity for Autism Hour this autumn.

At 10am on October 2, the shopping centre will join its retailers by dimming lights and turning down music for The National Autistic Society’s hour-long campaign.

Autism Hour raises awareness of how small changes can make a big difference for autistic people and their families when out and about.

General manager Andy Cole said: “At Touchwood we are committed to offering all guests the best possible shopping and leisure experience, which is why we are delighted to be supporting The National Autistic Society’s Autism Hour.

“We encourage all of our guests and partners throughout the borough to join us is raising awareness of this important cause.”
