CELEBRATIONS were in order as Carers Trust Solihull (CTS) won a top award.
The charity, which supports those who look after loved ones, was handed the Third Sector Award at the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards.
The team were joined on stage by carers who use the service to collect the award from ITV’s Des Coleman.
CTS chief executive, Brandon Scott-Omenka said: “I am delighted to see us win the coveted Solihull Award for Excellence in the Third Sector.
“It is a vote of confidence in Carers Trust Solihull’s hard work over the years to support carers who are the backbone of care in the community.”
Over the years, Carers Trust Solihull has seen increasing support from Solihull Council and has be able to support to all ages of unpaid carers.
