KETTLES are on the boil and cakes are baking in the oven ready to welcome patients and family members to Solihull Renal Unit.
All home and self-care dialysis patients are being invited to the unit on June 1 from 10am to have a cuppa and see the presentation of certificates by the lead consultant for patients who are on the Shared Care Programme and Home Haemodialysis Programme.
This is to recognise the efforts patients have put in to learning more about their renal failure and taking part in their treatment.
