THERE will be three new faces at the table at Solihull Business Improvement District (BID) as new board members have been appointed.

The trio will join the Board to help influence and shape the direction of Solihull town centre, working alongside key partners such as Solihull Council, Police and developments including Mell Square and Touchwood.

The new BID Board members are Louise Jones of Thursfields Solicitors, Nicola Newland of Wider digital agency and Kevin Crawford of Skiptons Building Society.

The Solihull BID Board is Chaired by Kevin Johns of Prime Chartered Accountants and is made up of a range of diverse organisations within the BID area.

These include representatives from the property, professional, retail, service, leisure/food & drink and public sectors.

The Board meets bi-monthly to provide strategic direction and support to the full-time team, oversee delivery of the business plan and scrutinise expenditure and performance.

Melanie Palmer, Director, Solihull BID, said: “We are delighted to welcome to the BID Board the three new members who represent the diverse range of businesses in our BID area.

“The enthusiasm, commitment and skills they bring to the table will enhance our full Board greatly as they give a lot of spare time to contribute to our community impact and the sustainability of our projects.”
