THREE Indian restaurants in Solihull are in the running to be crowned the Best Takeway in the West Midlands at this year’s Best British Takeaway Awards.

Cafe Balti in Sheldon, Chutney Express in Castle Bromwich and Lime Pickle in Solihull were shortlisted for the award after hundreds of food fanatics across the West Midlands battled it out to vote for their favourite takeaway.

“Making it to the top ten best takeaways restaurants in the West Midlands is a great achievement as it means their customers think they are providing great food and excellent customer service.”

The ceremony will take place at the prestigious Savoy Hotel in London on December 5.

The overall winner will receive an award for the Best British Takeaway in Britain and receive a cheque for £5,000.
