Three charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after Solihull crash

THREE Birmingham men have been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a collision in Solihull.

It is alleged the trio – all in separate cars – were driving dangerously along Stratford Road when one of them hit another man’s vehicle on July 18 last year.

The 65-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries and he is still recovering today.

Daniel Tandy, aged 23, of Highters Road, Highters Heath, James Walters, 18, of Gorleston Road, Yardley, and a 17-year-old boy have been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.




A fourth person – Morgan Cotterill, 18, of Jervoise Drive, Northfield, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

They were all postal charged to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.
