STAFF from a retirement home have raised over £2000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, undertaking a 12-mile walk through the city suburbs.
The walk started Shirley, and followed a scenic route through Kings Norton, and Kings Heath, before returning to the starting point.
Staff from Churchill Living chose to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, to help continue the vital work the hospital undertakes.
The team’s personal fundraising was boosted by an extra £1,000 of match funding from Churchill’s own charity, the Churchill Foundation.
David Meachem, sales and marketing director for Churchill Living said: “It was great to see members of Team Churchill pulling together and raising money for such a worthy cause that means so much to people in the Midlands especially.
“Birmingham Children’s Hospital do such great work locally whilst also supporting children and young adults nationwide.”
