Thai tsunami fundraiser returns with a host of special attractions

A SPECIAL Thai Festival organised by Warwick Rotary Club and Magic of Thailand Festivals, is to take place at Warwick Racecourse next weekend of Saturday and Sunday, September 4-5.

Rotary is promising all the sights, sounds and tastes of the orient as if visitors were on holiday in Thailand itself.

There will be Buddhist Monks, Thai Boxers, dancers and musicians with plenty of stalls selling Thai food, drinks, spices, crafts and Thai massage.

On stage throughout the day will be a presentation of Thai culture with Lady Boys, dancing and music.




Open from 10.30am to 6pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 5pm on tickets are £5 from agents Skiddles online at http://skiddle.com/e/35839521, or on the gate, children under 12 free, and dogs are welcome.

The event is sponsored Warwick Castle, Kia cars, Tourist Authority of Thailand, with support from Warwick District Council.


Warwick Rotary has organised an annual Thai festival since the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004 and continues to send aid to the Thai people and disaster areas.
