COLOURFUL creations made by crafty designers are set to go on display this week.
As part of Inspire Stitched Textile Group’s ten year anniversary the group has been busy stitching and finishing off their projects ready to go on show tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
From 10am until 4pm there will be a range of hand and machine stitch, dyed fabric items, bags, books and wall-hangings on show at St Swithin’s House in Barston.
Over the years the group has helped raised funds for charity and made baby clothes for those in need.
The group was formed by 12 friends who wanted to share their love of stitching in all its forms, and to develop their skills.
It soon grew to 23 members and now invites textile artists and members to lead workshops in their area of expertise.
The exhibition is free.
There will be refreshments parking and wheelchair access available.
Any proceeds will go to St Swithin’s House Trust.
