Ten in hospital after Hall Green crash

TEN men have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Hall Green.

West Midlands Police said it was called at 11.55pm on July 2 to the junction of Fox Hollies Road and Stratford Road following a collision between a car and a van.

Ten people were taken to hospital to be assessed for injuries.

One man suffered potentially life-changing injuries.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found a man, a passenger in the minibus, in a potentially life-threatening condition.

“They immediately began administering specialist trauma care before conveying him under emergency driving conditions to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.




“Two other men, both passengers in the minibus, were treated for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

“Three men, who were also passengers in the minibus, were treated for injuries not believed to be serious and conveyed to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital for further treatment.


“A further four men, including the driver of the minibus, were treated for injuries not believed to be serious, and conveyed to Heartlands Hospital.”
