A PAIR of teenagers have been charged with knife possession after they were arrested in Solihull.
Officers from the LEOS neighbourhood team (Lyndon, Elmdon, Olton and Silhill) were carrying out Sceptre patrols in Tudor Grange Park on May 19 where they stopped and searched two people.
The two 17-year-olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were remanded to appear before magistrates in Birmingham.
One of the teenagers pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at Birmingham Magistrates Court on June 17.
Both teenagers have been bailed with strict conditions until their next court hearings.
Sceptre is an operation which brings together all 43 police forces across England and Wales in a week of intensified action targeting knife crime.
