TWO teenagers have been charged after an alleged carjacking where a woman was hit with a hammer in Sheldon.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “The woman suffered head and eye injuries which were fortunately not life-threatening after being struck when her Audi A1 was stolen from Coventry Road, Sheldon, on March 19.
“Two boys, aged 16 and 17, have been charged with robbery, wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.
“The pair have been remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Crown Court on June 5.”
