A TEENAGER accused of more than 20 burglaries in just a few weeks has been remanded into prison after being charged over the break-ins.

Leo Joe is accused of forcing entry to homes across Birmingham and Solihull between February 10 and March 9.

It’s alleged he was part of a gang who toured the streets in the early hours of the morning looking for vehicles to take.

The 18-year-old has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

The charge covers a total of 21 offences and the theft of 16 cars, including a top-of-the-range Jaguar F-Pace, plus VWs, Mercedes and Skodas.

He’s also been charged with gun possession after a loaded pistol was found at an address in Coventry Road, Birmingham on April 5.

Joe, of no fixed address, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on April 13 and was remanded into custody.

He’s next due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on May 11.

Meanwhile police enquiries into the burglaries and attempted break-ins continues.
