SOLIHULL police are appealing for information after a teenager sustained facial injuries in Solihull.

Police say they were called to near the junction of High Street and New Road at around 1.30pm on November 2 following reports of a disorder.

A 16-year-old boy was allegedly kicked in the face and suffered injuries to his mouth.

West Midlands Police said: “We’ve been reviewing CCTV and know there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have vital information.

“We suspect it may be linked to the FA Cup fixture in the town that afternoon and we’re keen to hear from witnesses, and anyone who has mobile phone footage.”
