Teen in critical condition after Solihull double stabbing as youngster held for questioning

A TEENAGER is in a critical condition following a double stabbing in Solihull.

The 16-year-old is fighting for his life after he was stabbed along with a 19-year-old, who is in a stable condition.

The pair were attacked on Chapelhouse Road, Fordbridge, at around 2.40pm on April 26.

Detectives have arrested a boy aged 14 on suspicion of attempted murder.




The youngster has been kept in custody for questioning.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to reports that two people had been stabbed on Chapelhouse Road, Solihull at about 2.40pm on Sunday April 26.


“Two people have been taken to hospital.

“A 16-year-old boy remains in a critical condition while a 19-year-old man is described as stable.

“A 14-year-old boy, was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder and taken into police custody for questioning.
